How do I become a client of HPI?
HPI is a referral based clinic. If you or your physician feels that you would benefit from participating in one of the evaluations or programs that HPI offers, your physician can fax a referral to our office. Referrals should include which service you are being referred for, your diagnosis, contact information for you and your physician and your worker’s compensation claim information. HPI will review the referral and contact you to discuss scheduling an initial evaluation.
Will my insurance cover HPI’s services?
HPI specializes in Industrial Rehabilitation, thus the vast majority of our clients have open and accepted workers compensation claims. Worker’s compensation insurance will cover HPI’s services if you are referred by your attending physician and it is authorized by your claims manager as reasonable and customary. Because HPI’s focus is to rehabilitate injured workers and return to them to the work force, medical insurance policies typically will not cover our services. Private pay may be available on a case by case basis. Please contact our office to inquire.
